After so many months "on hiatus", I'm back to this blog!!! School was hectic. I'm still trying to get a hang of it. Finally I am having my term break now, telling myself to make full use of it; complete as much assignments as I can so I would not have to worry about it next term. At the same time, I would wish to do some of the things which I did not have the time. However, it's just one week of break! Sigh sigh.

I'm also glad that I've managed to complete my canvas for the Wisdom Beyong Borders exhibition, which started on Feb 16. I would like to thank Tulaya, Surachai, Joey, Wolfy, Haly, Poppy, YQ, Aiden, Syamil, Sophia, Mae, as well as many many good friends who supported me during my process. Assignments was piling up too. I'm contented to be able to pull through this; the highest degree of stress which I had to hold back. Anyway, WOOHOO!!!

The Wisdom Beyond Borders exhibition showcases works from the book 'Thai Folk Wisdom', local artists, as well as students from Singapore's institutions - SOTA (School Of The Arts), NAFA (Nanyang Academy School of Fine Arts). Venue is at the Teochew Building (behind the Istana Park @ Dhoby Ghaut). Free admission for all.

Today I had my second day in school. Interesting new modules so far. Hellish feeling of fatigue.

I still have no idea who settled my fees. Anyway, I went to the National Museum today to check out the exhibition called "Dreams & Reality". It showcases french masterpieces of painting, drawing and photography.

The Enigma. Gustave Gore. Oil on Canvas.

My most favourite piece of painting from the exhibition.

Somehow, it gives me a haunting sense.

I had also caught a glimpse of "Starry Night" by Van Gogh. I think every painting is an inspiration. I wish I could spend the whole day over at the gallery but my tiredness was failing me.
I'd definitely go and visit the exhibition again! (Why not? It's free admission for students anyway :P)
I foresee I'd spend a lot of time at museums during my period of study at nafa. (:

Could feelings and actions change overnight? I guess it's yes. I am still feeling down, like deeper in the ocean. Similarly, I still love you as deep as I seek for the depth of the ocean. This probably sounds familiar to someone. There's a contrast. All that we've been through went fine but this time.. I really hope we're not going to drift apart. I'm unsure right now. Confused. Lost. Depressed. At the same time, contented. I'm blessed for many reasons. However, I don't think I could hold on to this bitter feeling for long. Sigh. So that's his discussion?

School is starting in a weeks' time. I'm grateful for my class timetable! Wednesday is gonna a long day bcos of digital art, investigating art & illustration :O I always tell myself this is path that I've chosen(& always wanted) and I need to work hard to create my own artwork. YOSH!!!

Right now, I'm supposed to work on my 3D sculpture. It looks like an afro hair. I have been stuck with assignments everyday. Always at the peak of self destruction. I really need a nice long break before I start on yinyang.

Nowadays has been bad for me. Sometimes, I feel sad for no reason. No one seems to be understanding. I didn't want to expect so much. Who am I to? I know I have no one to depend on anymore, why can't I just get over it. I've been trying and trying, still trying. I feel emptiness. Perhaps it's good, when it's empty, I can fill it with something. However, nothing seems to work. Even trying doesn't work. I hate to feel this way.

One day, you will love someone. I will get over it, as long as I try.

Jalan raya with my secondary school buddies for the 3rd time! I felt so happy after meeting them because I missed them la! A lil confession, I love y'all!

As usual, I love the food, snacks, house visiting & random activities. I like that we all came together on that day, going from house to house, enjoying ourselves. I hope this isn't the last. Next year, again!! :)

Karak is a nice movie, though quite confusing and sad. It's freaky, the old lady who tore apart the man's body at the beginning still lingers in my mind D:

Hello~

It's 1st of September & I am so glad I got to hear the bells today.

What a long day I had. Starting the day like a marathon. 3D was fine today... Luckily with the help of the lecturer, I finally had an idea with my own work.

30 minutes POWER NAP during break. It was worthwhile as I needed it for DP.

Had dinner with fellow 5n1 classmates & Mr Lathif. It was great! *Happy Teachers' Day!*
I felt glad to see them :) I hope there'd be more outings coming up!

I feel like I'm drifting away from some people whom I used to be close with. I don't believe friends come and go. I'm afraid of losing the ones I loved. If they want to stay, they would. If not, they would still be kept in my heart & I'd still cherish the times spent with them. I really don't see the point in trying so hard and still disappoint myself all the time. I will just go with it. Trying hard. Live in the present & anticipate for the future. There's always a reason for something to happen.

I'm so glad I still have the time for blogging. I still have 2 more sketch models to be done. :P
Anyhoo, as usual, assignments pushing me to the extend that I had to actually force my eyes open to do work, some more in the daylight. Sleep has become so faraway & precious to me now.
I think I'm not the only one going through these shitz. If only nafa students have the same holiday as poly students, at least I could meet up my cool old friends. So much things I wish to do, yet so little time. Nope, I'm not complaining.

I've been enjoying school, despite how tiring & stressful it is. Thanks so much to my schoolmates (:
I've realised that days are passing by so quickly. Now, it's the fifth week of school already. :OOO

However, I'm uncertain why I had a strange feeling that the elements in the movie gave me a familiar sense. Yes, something which relates to the conspiracy. I really hoped that they're not trying to give us a hint/future plans to everyone. I hoped it's purely just an action movie.

School is almost around the corner... I can't hide from it. I still feel a teeny weeny dreadful, most probably because the wait is really long... I'm also a bit exhausted from work. Ganbatte to myself! XD Just 2 more weeks of many shifts, prepare for school, and I'm all set for school!

The weather nowadays is so so so so so warm!! It feels like the Sun is going to explode! Everyone, please take care of your health and drink plenty of water!

Yesterday, I went for an interview at a ramen restaurant. Seems okay to me bcos I feel there's hope. However, since I've went for interviews which I felt hope every time, it wouldn't turn out to be good. I shall cross my fingers until tomorrow. Hopefully they'll call me. Cos' I really NEED a job.

I've been wanting to buy BoA's Identity Live Tour 2010!! I've searched at HMV, cwp... Yet still I can't find it! Ugh! Anyone who comes across it, please tell me??

I'm home after a nice evening with Mr Lathif & my fellow 5N1 classmates! Most of them were present and we had our dinner together at Sakura International Buffet Restaurant. I was so HUNGRY bcos I hadn't had breakfast and lunch.

I SO miss the days in secondary school. I'm blessed with friends which I'm still in touch now. They're mostly part of my fond memories. What I can remember most is our smiles and laughter. Soon, everyone is going to a different school or course, getting busier, fighting own battles, etc. Never give up!

Canberrans' Day is finally over!
That means no more rehearsals, and here comes intensive revision! D:
Most people came in their ethnic costume, very colourful and everyone looked so nice!
I enjoyed the performances! I see hope in modern dance (: woohoo! They need a cca tshirt seriously.. :/

7th march - I had the awesome-est day of my life!

PARAMORE in S'pore. And...

I'M IN PARAMORE CONCERT!!! Right in s'pore indoor stadium!

I still can't forget the moment they step onto the stage. It's like you can't stop jumping and have fun!

Aishah and I bought a $40 shirt, we both think it's worth it! hehe

The MV is so cool! I got a yingyang feel when watching it, especially the last part.

3rd week of school, still hanging on. Excellence programme has started. But slight~ change, last year was 2hours, this year is just 1hr45mins. Okay, 15 mins difference, at least a little bit more time for CCA!

Nowadays, the weather is getting freaky. It can get very cold and windy in the morning, then hot and sunny in the afternoon. This can make people fall sick very quickly! omg, no matter how shiok the weather is, I die die don't want to get sick, the feeling sucks.

3rd week of school, still hanging on. Trying my best to learn and understand the new topics been taught. Amaths is getting tougher. I hope the 3hrs every saturday would be useful. I don't want to squeeze with people weeks before Olevel. XD
Homeworks are piling up like mountain everest!! never ending~ Gonna start a habit of doing homework already.

3rd week of school, still hanging on. New dance instructor, Mr Liang, taught us some techniques. Okay, I find it stressing sometimes. I find the things which Ms Liew had taught us was actually easier than what we're learning right now. She's probably not coming back. We'll have to adapt to this new instructor. First was Mr Low, then Ms Liew, then 2 new... There's no competition for us this year, so it's kinda boring.
I think CNY performance is going to be the last perf for most sec4s and also sec 5s. Very. Sad. :(
I see many potential ones, also hope that they can achieve a syf silver or GOLD. XD

Yesterday, I went for chemistry tuition at Spiritual Grace Presbyterian Church. We started all the way from chapter one, I find it helpful because I start to understand than just memorising.

After that, Corina, Huiting, Regina and I had a escape plan, but the running was unexpected! XD LOL!
Met Sherman at SSC, went to have lunch, shop around in Daiso, after that home sweet home!

Home wasn't sweet when I saw no one.
Mum and Dad had already gone to malaysia to attend the wake of my uncle.
It was on 31st dec '09, I saw my uncle, never knew that was the last time.

I miss my 3 uncles.

I enjoyed myself and also had some times which I never want to think about... I hope everyone learnt something from this camp. At first, I dreaded becoming one of the group leaders -.-, but I think it benefits because I got to know a few sec 1s. Thanks to the ex-students who brought so much fun to the sec 1s!!! XD

Now it's the piles of homework ...
and DANCE!!! can't wait to see if there's boys this time round.
I got a glimpse of the steps on what the dancers has to do starting from now.. pretty hard. :/

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO REGINA AND SAZLEEN!!

I had really painful cramps this morning, even though I had breakfast.
Thank you Mr Lathif for treating us! :D

After breakfast, went for maths lesson in school, the school seemed so empty.
2pm++, went to meet Brandon, Jiawei, Rina and Sherman at woodlands.
After buying the things we need, we went to Regina's house.
Luckily she's at home. XD
And then surprised her with a b'day cake! HAHA

Awkward moments. We thought very long on what to do next.
We did block catching, which was so tiring. XD
When we're back in Regina's house, played with her hamsters, meatballs. XD So cute! One skinny and one fat. Lol
Played a while of Spiderman monopoly.

Regina's mum cooked some food for us, thank you! XD
There's also bandung drink! woo! lol

Jiawei left after eating.
Brandon wants to sing 'yue liang dai biao wo de xin' with regina's mum. LOL
We played hotel626, with lights off, but with people singing ktv in the living room. haha

Anyway, the game loads very slow and sometimes never loads. Zzz So we stopped playing.

Regina took out her hair straightener and the curling iron, she tried on Rina, which looks good, until she curled too much of her fringe ~~ haha
Then she straightened sherman's fringe, which makes it longer.
And then mine, straightened my BOMB hair. XD I think my hair is ok but just sometimes it's just too messy. haha Maybe I should go rebonding again?! hah, see first.

Hello~

School is quite quiet nowadays, the sec 4 NAs and NTs aren't in school, most of them either hang out after exams or not coming for school. SIAN AH~~

Last Friday,
Brandon, Khairul, Regina, Sherman and I went to sentosa to celebrate the end of their 'n' level exams. It was fun because I tasted good food - ham and cheese bread!, played frisbee and captain's ball.

Last Saturday,
met up with my classmates to visit Raja, Amalina and Mr Lathif's house for hari raya.
What's happening was that, after we left Raja's house, most of the boys got stuck in the lift on 6th floor. Yea, mosh somemore. It was quite scary, to look what's beneath the lift. XD
So we waited for the technician to come for rescue.
Fortunately, they were safe.

Then, we went to Amalina's house, where we celebrated her birthday! I love the cake, damn nice. XD We watched some horror movies, quite random but her grandparents sure have a lot of horror movies. :D

Our last stop, Mr lathif's house.
I already had my full, cannot eat anymore. XD
Hazroy started to play 'Your Call' on the guitar, but somehow, I heard people singing 'Zombie'. lol

Received so many snacks today!! So happy!

Sec 4 graduation ceremony was held today in the hall. There were only the sec4&5s and a few alumnis.

Mr Siva made a speech first. Mr Siva, the cohort manager of our batch for 2 years since we're sec1. I remember when during the orientation week, all of us were in the hall and also in our respective houses (mirage!! green! XD), he entertained us, I forgot what he had told us about but it was super hilarious!!

While mr siva and mr oon was making the speech, I recalled a lot of memories I had for the past 3 years 8 months and 18 days.

The councillors sang 2 songs, nice! Great effort!

After that, was a photo taking session, a few of us were hidden behind. I was wondering why don't they follow what they did last year, all the us at the parade square and take a photo of us from above. So Huiting and I just raised our hand and showed V sign. "Hey! Let's spot for our hand!"

A small accident happened.

I could finally step foot on Da Vinci's exhibition today!
People who also went are Aishah, Wai Ling, Yuan Hui and Mr Soh.

The things which Leonardo has invented was totally speechless man.
Can't doubt he is a genius at all. He's got mighty super brain!!
One of his inventions missed out one thing that can actually make it work. cool!
The exhibition is until 16 August, which is next sunday, go before it ends!

Yesterday night, I spent an hour or so watching Okto's movie at night 'Mad About English'. It's a very nice show. It shows how the chinese in China learn English. Mainly because of the olympics which was held last year. I'm so amazed! I think the 70+ old man can speak better English than me. I see the potential in them in learning further English. XD
The show gave me motivation to learn things.
However, the motivation level was just gone the next day. :/

Nothing much today, reached school in a haste, I was surprised to see unseen faces in our school.

BoA, her recent photo, reminds me of Victoria from the movie, Twilight.

It's Youth Day today! Such a rainy day yesterday, lucky I didn't had plans or I'll turn gloomy like the weather. I stayed at home for the whole day and watched War of the Worlds, 5mins of Incredible Tales and an hour of Scariest Places on Earth.

I was once very interested in finding out informations about Countess Elizabeth Bathory a.k.a Blood Countess. She believes that blood can give her eternal blood. That was after I watched a movie called Stay Alive. That was quite a long time ago. Yesterday's Scariest Places on Earth show was about the castle of Countess Elizabeth. Four people went in there to explore, I'm freaked out when I'm watching. Thousands died in the castle, people might get cursed before stepping into any of the rooms.

I'm getting a little goosebumps now.

Due to H1N1, the celebration of 10 years of quality in Canberra a.k.a Canberrans' Day was postponed.
When? I don't know.
Hope it is really a postpone than a cancel. :l

I was quite sad, because I'm always looking forward to dance.
That's how I went through day by day.
I heard that there are more than 30 new swine flu cases yesterday. That was very surprising, just in one day. It could be deadly. o.o
So please eat more fruits and vegetables so that you will be less prone to diseases. :D

Ms Loh said she owns a dog and one of my classmate said she must had gotten it using $1. You know, the turn turn turn and a ball comes out. hilarious!

Hi! I'm back from Malaysia.
It is good to leave the city sometimes.

I love the view of sunset.
I had a glimpse of houses on the sea~ It is still not completed yet, if you're above, you can see a pattern like a palm tree.
It feels like Hawaii~

Hope my Uncle will recover as soon as possible.

I wasn't so pleasant for the past few days, I sent my entry for an art competition on Tuesday, then my sister told me through the phone when Mum and I arrived Malaysia, that I sent to the wrong address.
What a bad news!
Now, the person seems not to meet and return. :(
The dateline is today, 2359 pm. Up till now, my piece of work is not with me.
Totally no mood.

DANCE SUBARU! Sugoii!
I wouldn't mind watching again! XD

I love every dancing part!
Of course there are a few touching scenes.
I actually watched the production of the movie yesterday on youtube.
I was amazed that the actress playing the role of Subaru had never learn ballet since young.
She proved herself to the directors and crews that she could stand on both of her toes. Everyone was shocked.
She's very talented.
I admire the courage and spirit of Subaru! She's damn cool la!

Oh yah, BoA's Eat you up song was played, twice! LOL
DBSK also appeared!!!

Thank you Regina and Fadli, taking out the time to watch the movie. Hehe
I'm just afraid that I can't catch it in the cinema after I return from malaysia.

Sunday's a break, yay!

Went for a volunteer attachment programme (?) at NTU yesterday.
We are grouped, I was in group 6, together with YuQing, Kaymin and Jingting.
There are also students from CHIJ St. Theresa convent.

Again, I was grouped with 2 students from CHIJ, our beneficiaries are Wanita, Haniza and Suria.
We played games with them, moving from station to station.
After that, lunch.
We do some interactions with them and the senior volunteers.
All of us gathered and was dismissed afterwards.

Overall, it was an interesting experience and yet quite boring. XD

Tomorrow is the rehearsal again. Zzz
Nevermind, I'll get to see my relatives soon.

I await for tonight to come, because I want to watch movie on ch5 and have dinner. XD

Went for the geography trip to Sungei Buloh. I think it is my class's 3rd visit already.
I hardly recognise some places and the things we see as compared to last few visits.
Anyway, I brought my sis's camera along, so I have lots of photos that I can take. XD

Happy Birthday Wan Qi!

My big sister came back from CA and HK!
She was busy anti-virus-ing when she's back.
No one was affected, at the meantime. XD
Bwahaha~ anyway, this is no joke.

The best part was that, she bought us clothes! Hoo~!
It must had cost a bomb. O.O
I think that was the first thing that made me smile today.
